Widemouth View, 79 Widemouth Bay Holiday Village


 On booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the requested date. On clearance of the funds, the booking will be confirmed. Payment of the balance is due no later than four weeks before the holiday is due to commence. Keys will not be released unless all payments have been made prior to the start of the booked date.

Refundable Deposit

We take a £70 refundable deposit, this covers any damages, breakages, additional cleaning and excess electricity usage.  100 units of electricity are included free with your holiday, any additional units over 100 will be charged at 20p per unit.  Your deposit will be refunded once the chalet has been checked and will be refunded no later than 7 days after the end of your holiday. 


VAT is included at the current rate.

Cancellation Insurance

This is the responsibility of the Guest and we advise you to take out insurance cover. It protects you from being liable for the balance of the rental, should you be forced to cancel prior to your holiday because of serious injury, illness, death, jury service or redundancy (to yourself or any member of your party). If this can be substantiated and has arisen since you made the booking, then you will no longer be liable for the balance of the rental. Deposits are non-refundable – if the holiday was paid in full at the time of booking, a figure equivalent to the published deposit will be deemed to be a booking fee and will be retained. Should you need to cancel you must contact us immediately. Telephone cancellations must be confirmed in writing.


Available from 4pm on arrival. Details for key collection will be given when the balance of rent has been received.  Please return keys and vacate the bungalow by 10am on the day of departure. 

No Smoking

Please note, Widemouth View is a strictly No Smoking. Guests who breach this will be asked to vacate the bungalow without refund, even when their holiday has not yet finished.


We regret we do not accept dogs. You will see dogs on site on occasion and these belong to individual Chalet Owners.

Single Sex Groups/Parties

We regret we do not accept single sex groups, i.e. stag or hen parties. Please note, however, we welcome same gender couples.


The shop does not sell Newspapers. Shop opening hours will be posted on the information board.

Bread, milk, etc. can be bought on site at the shop.

Site Opening Times

Widemouth View is available all year round but the Holiday Park facilities are open between
1st April to 30th September.

Car Parking

Car parking is free, additional cars; trailers etc. for security reasons must be booked in advance and will be strictly monitored.  Vehicles parked are done so at the owner’s risk.


It is an express condition of booking that we cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, or damage to property, or non-availability of accommodation or amenities due to circumstances beyond our control. It is an express condition of booking that we will not be held responsible for any planned facility not being available through circumstances beyond the Village management’s control. In the interest of safety, it might become necessary to limit the opening times of the swimming pools.  The Village management does not employ life guards – children and non swimmers must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Should any guest cause problems or inconvenience to other guests or staff, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the Holiday Village without refund.


Widemouth View is not part of the company that owns and runs the village. As such, if you have a problem, Mr & Mrs Aldenton should not be approached and asked to resolve it. Please contact us directly – we live locally – and we will attend.

Wheelchairs and Disability

Our accommodation is unsuitable for the disabled.

Winter Bookings

Should you wish to book Widemouth View outside the summer season, we are happy to negotiate terms. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Please note – there are no facilities open in the Village during the winter months
